After successful trainings at two Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Tajikistan in June 2022 and four HEIs in Uzbekistan, the RE-ACT tool HEInnovate for RIS3 (now called SUNAR – Smart Universities Acting Regionally) has been introduced in Kazakhstan.
In October 2022, three workshops titled “Is your University prepared for future challenges?” provided information on the self-assessment tool. The trainings included the new tool “HEInnovate for RIS” which has been developed within RE-ACT project (Self-reflection tools for smart Universities acting regionally). The trainings took part at 3 universities in Kazakhstan: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana, Atyrau State University in Atyrau and Toraighyrov University in Pavlodar. More than 100 participants from three universities participated at trainings. The training was met with great interest and supported the strategic planning of the universities concerned.
