After successful trainings at two HEIs in Tajikistan in June 2022, HEInnovate for RIS has been introduced in Uzbekistan. In July 2022, four workshops titled “Is your University prepared for future challenges?” provided information on HEInnovate tool. The trainings included the new tool “HEInnovate for RIS” which has been developed within RE-ACT project (Self-reflection tools for smart Universities acting regionally, project number 612903-EPP-1-2019-1-PT-EPPKA3-PI-FORWARD). Trainings took part at 4 universities in Uzbekistan: Termez State University in Termez, Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology in Namangan, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute in Jizzakh and Tashkent State Transport University in Taskhent. More than 90 participants from four universities participated in the training. Trainings on HEInnovate have been highly appreciated and widely promoted in Uzbekistan. In October 2022 the new tool will be exploited in Kazakhstan altogether at 3 HEIs.
