On the 14th of October RE-ACT’s partners gathered online for the project’s second transnational meeting.
Due to the current pandemic situation, some of RE-ACT’s initially planned face-to-face activities have been carried out remotely. Therefore, on the 14th of October RE-ACT’s partners gathered online for the project’s second transnational meeting. This meeting was initially planned to take place in Košice, Slovakia.
The focus of this meeting was on the current status of WP1-HEINNOVATE FOR RIS3. The WP aims at translating the potential of HEINNOVATE for RIS3 into an upgraded online self-assessment tool. In the last few months, partners have conducted an extensive research analysis (including a Delphi Study, Literature Review, and Interviews). The discussion on the results of this research was fruitful. In addition, the partners also planned the next steps and phases of the project.
RE-ACT, a project funded by the ERASMUS+ programme, is led by Porto Business School. Above all, the project engages all actors of the triple helix to underpin their collaborative work for smart specialisation strategies and offer peer support to networks from other regions. The consortium has embraced the challenge to develop, test, and scale-up the assessment tool HEINNOVATE for RIS3 and create an innovative tool that will support Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to assess how responsive and engaged they are in the regional innovation ecosystem.
Stay tuned for the next steps!
